Dear Colleague,
We are nearly 4 months away from the 5th WHNCD 2019 on 27th July. With enthusiastic support from each one of you, more than 200 events have been held in 65 cities of 50 countries to commemorate WHNCD! To see the detailed report – http://ifhnos.net/whncd/Index/Report
Let us make 5th WHNCD on 27th July a bigger success. In case you are not able to organize it on 27th July, it can be commemorated any day close to that day. However, please remember to identify any such activity as “In recognition of the WHNCD 2016”. These are some of the options that can be taken up as part of your event –
- Educating the physicians on early diagnosis and current treatment paradigms,
b. Awareness programs for the general public.
c. Free screening for Head & Neck cancers.
d. Interaction with cancer survivors and their families. - Interaction with government and policy makers.
It is preferable to involve newspaper and television media, NGOs and Government representatives in your programs.
